Telephone Counselling is beneficial when the client has some distance to travel or is unable to travel due to disabilities or panic attacks.  It takes a commitment from the client to ensure that there are no distractions, but once these disciplines are in place, telephone counselling can be very successful.

Clients I have worked with often start telephone counselling and then move to face to face or Skype once they have built-up trust and they tell me that telephone counselling was an important step.
